From March 22 to 23, 2025, CG Global Entertainment Limited (CGGE) conducted a two-day ‘Blender + AI Creative Training: Teaching Applications and Case Studies’ course at Shenzhen Polytechnic. Faculty and students from the Digital Media School’s programs in digital animation, animation design, and digital media arts participated in the training and exchange activities, gaining in-depth understanding of Blender’s features and practical applications, as well as operating plugins and AI creative tools to develop new teaching strategies.

The training featured Mr. Gaku Tada, developer of the Deep Paint plugin, who shared his industry experience at major VFX studios such as Industrial Light & Magic and Weta FX. He demonstrated techniques such as converting 2D brushes into 3D models and 3D spatial painting. Mr. Stanley Yuen, a senior mentor and veteran film production director from CGGE provided insights on integrating Blender with AI tools and conducted hands-on sessions.
