On April 15, 2025, the School of Art and Design at Guangzhou College of Commerce welcomed the core leadership team of CGGE for a follow-up visit. Founder and Chairman Mr. Raymond D. Neoh, accompanied by Vice President Sean Xiao, Partner Penny Man, and Regional Director Cloudy Poon, met with Dean Lin Yuyuan and Vice Dean Lai Weicheng to discuss comprehensive cooperation in AI-driven digital creativity across industry, academia, and research, as well as deepen collaboration for the 2025 International Artificial Intelligence and Creativity Conference (IAICC).
Following their initial meeting on March 27, where both parties exchanged views on cutting-edge international trends in digital creativity, innovation in art and design education, and practical training base development, this visit further advanced strategic cooperation on AI innovation curricula and high-standard international industry conferences. Guided by Vice Dean Lai, the CGGE team conducted an in-depth inspection of campus facilities, highly praising the internationally standardized infrastructure of Guangzhou College of Commerce — including the lecture hall, library, labs, and digital creative teaching spaces — which seamlessly blend humanities, art, and modern technology.

Chairman Mr. Raymond D. Neoh shared global insights on future industry trends, stating:
“AI technology is reshaping the digital media industry, bringing both challenges and new opportunities. Cultivating talent with cutting-edge skills is vital to China’s digital economy and enterprise competitiveness. Universities must innovate curricula, deepen industry-academia-research collaboration, and actively engage in international conferences and competitions to nurture industry-leading talents. CGGE independently develops comprehensive technical standards for computer digital animation and builds a digital content creation platform leveraging global open-source AI models. Our focus spans original animated films, short dramas, digital virtual humans, animation IPs, and industrial operations. Guangzhou College of Commerce’s leadership and faculty demonstrate foresight and innovation. Through IAICC, CGGE invites top AI and creative experts worldwide to participate in the summit. We look forward to deepening cooperation with Guangzhou College of Commerce to jointly elevate China’s AI digital content industry on the global stage!”
Dean Lin emphasized the profound educational significance of the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area’s enterprises and universities jointly hosting the International Artificial Intelligence and Creativity Conference: “IAICC will embody the core philosophy of ‘technology empowering art, humanities leading innovation.’ This platform will explore new paradigms of art education in the AI era, ensuring technology truly enhances human creativity.”
Vice Dean Lai presented a feasibility study on targeted talent training programs, based on the initial meeting’s outcomes, detailing the technical roadmap and implementation plan for a jointly established AI digital content R&D center. This report provides solid theoretical support for future collaboration.
Both parties reached consensus on the 2025 International Artificial Intelligence and Creativity Conference and joint educational programs. They will proceed with detailed discussions and implementation, launching comprehensive strategic cooperation. Guangzhou College of Commerce will leverage its strengths in higher education and artistic creativity, while CGGE will contribute breakthroughs in independent R&D and open-source software ecosystems. Together, they will invigorate the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area’s development as an international science and technology innovation center, promoting pioneering school-enterprise-industry-research collaboration and creating a global model for AI art education.
